    What is lawn cotton fabric?
Lawn cloth or lawn is a fine plain weave textile, made with fine combed cotton. Terms also used include batiste and nainsook.

Originally the name applied to plain weave linen, and linen lawn is also called "handkerchief linen".
What is difference between cotton and lawn fabric?is that cotton is a plant that encases its seed in a thin fiber that is harvested and used as a fabric or cloth while lawn is an open space between woods or lawn can be (uncountable) a type of thin linen or cotton.

    What is a rubbing test?

A rub test is a method of assessing the durability (or 'abrasion resistance') of a fabric. During the test, a specialist machine vigorously rubs the fabric.

When the fabric begins to show signs of wear and tear, the test finishes by counting the number of 'rubs' up to that point.

How do you do a rub test?

Sutherland Rub Test is performed by attaching a label to the device while a similar sample label is attached to a weight.

The two samples are then rubbed against one another at a controlled speed for a predetermined number of cycles.
