• How to use Accessibility Probe?
  • A. This test was developed to assess whether there is a hazard that a child can touch during play and cause injury.
    Standard: EN-71 Toy Safety Standard
    ISO8124--1:2000 International Toy Safety Standard
    Test equipment: probe A(3-), Probe B(3+)
    B.How to use and understand the B accessible wiper head:
    B1. Insert a suitable Accessibility Probes into a recess or opening in a hole in the toy to access possible sharp edges.
    B2.Accessibility Probes insertion depth is determined by the size of the smallest dimension as follows (the smaller dimension of the opening can only pass through the largest sphere diameter of the opening).
    Criteria for determining the size of Accessibility Probes used

    B3. Any front part of the collar of Accessibility Probes A/B shall be tested for accessible sharp points or sharp edges of toys across two age groups.
    C.Judgment: If the edge or point on the toy is touched by the applied finger, it is considered that no point or edge is accessible.

    D.Records: (1) Mark the unqualified products; (2) Record the inspection results in detail on the report.
